6 Day Canoe Trip Itinerary

This is an exciting wilderness odyssey into the interior of the west side of Algonquin Park led by our Paddle Canada certified instructors and guides who will be teaching you substantial paddling and tripping skills while on the trip. In fact, you will have the opportunity to receive a Paddle Canada Intermediate Tandem Lake Water Skills certification.

We are committed to making every trip an inspirational encounter with the natural wilderness beauty of Algonquin, and a safe, warm, dry, and comfortable one for all.

We travel with only the best light weight modern equipment with such amenities as outback ovens to bake fresh breads and goodies, comfortable two person tents, and even a large bug tent for your comfort should it be needed.

The food is fresh and plentiful, in fact, most people comment that they eat better on our trips than at home.

We will travel through many beautiful wilderness lakes using lightweight kevlar canoes and short easy portage routes. We will be camping on 3 different wilderness lakes as we explore this little traveled part of the park. The wildlife and fishing here is outstanding! In the past, we have seen moose, eagles, beavers, and mink to name a few. We try to be off the water each day by around 3 pm to allow everyone to relax and enjoy the wilderness area we are camping in that night.

You will need only your personal items and a sleeping bag. A waterproof, high quality canoe backpack and an air mattress will be supplied for your use.

The trip starts at 9:00 am at Algonquin Park and ends at 3-4 pm on the last day.
